Upcoming events, and those that have already taken place, as well as materials from my recent presentations at two agile conferences: Agile Tour Montpellier & Agile Toulouse 2014. On the left in the photo, the impossible presentation: closing of Agile Tour Montpellier on a very visual theme, without slides, around the bar, with a thirsty (and therefore dangerous) crowd as an audience.

Raid agile - November 4 to 7, 2014

raid agile, le raidme

Well first, as you know, I think I’m already saturating those close to me with raid agile, but it’s really a training I care about (3 days off in the Cévennes). All I recommend is that you read the very recent RaidMe.txt which will reveal the location, the menu, the program, the extras. There are still spots available!

Charlotte & Claude Emond, November 24 & 25, 2014

Then at the end of November I have the pleasure of welcoming Charlotte Goudreault & Claude Emond to Montpellier for a) a dinner/conference evening (Monday, November 24, 2014 in the evening) around engagement b) a conference/workshop the next day (Tuesday, November 25, 2014) on leading change in business with changeboxing (a specific technique by Charlotte & Claude).

Everything you need to know about these two Canadian friends and their conference: convergenc.es. It’s also the time to register because “early bird” tickets are available until the end of the month.

Living organizations

Through a sort of first draft, I was able to present some new reflections, particularly on the famous scaling agile (but not really taking the usual paths). A first version had come to light at Agile France in May, and a second there, in Montpellier during Agile Tour 2014, but really under special conditions (behind the bar at the end of the day with everyone waiting for the speech to end to start drinking…). I was really able to give the conference at Agile Toulouse 2014, with slides (very image-heavy so very important) and in an amphitheater. Even though my conference was a state of affairs of an ongoing reflection (and therefore not really fixed) I was satisfied with this conversation with people (and it seems they were too).

I hope to quickly transform this reflection into blog articles (very soon concerning slums…), and in the medium term as a sequel to la horde agile.

Here are the slides:

Organizational agility & individual and team dynamics with Boris

What was a resounding success at Agile Tour Montpellier 2014 was by contrast my joint session with Boris Quinchon around the Lego Cynefin workshop: allowing everyone to become aware of different organizational dimensions and individual and team dynamics according to contexts. This dual voice (organizational agility and individual dynamics) seems essential to us and cannot and should not be carried by the same person, which is why for six months we have been working with Boris on this offer: http://agilecoaching365.fr.

The workshop that was supposed to bring together 20/30 people was ultimately very full (~50 people, or more), and a resounding success. It gives a new dimension to this already very interesting game: sources of the workshop. Here are some slides that complement our workshop and our offer:

HR and agile with Jas

Jas Chong was able to give an experience report at two mentioned events (and she continues at Agile Tour Brussels). I spoke when the program allowed me to give my point of view – which is evolving but is becoming even more marked: wouldn’t HR ultimately be the people destined to carry agility? culture, values, neutrality, that’s their business –. These ongoing reflections with Jas (we agree on some points, we diverge on others) also took the form of an offer for which we were able to hold an event in September 2014 as well as a website http://transformation-rh.fr:
