I wanted to inform my network through this missive that I had recently embarked (December 2022) with a small crew on an adventure called Frugarilla, from the concatenation of “guerilla” and “frugal”. The objective of this vehicle is to explore the possibilities of a thorny subject: the future of digital, in what it will need to be radically to be compatible with the environment of the coming years. Our editorial line is aptly named “essential digital 2030”.
The crew consists of a core nucleus of four people who give me such enthusiasm because we complement each other so well. Two are the experts, the knowledgeable ones, Sara and Alexis. Dominique plays the role of sponsor, facilitator in the tentacles of our network of companies (let’s not forget that we are a subsidiary of an American consulting firm), and also, let’s say it, taskmaster with regard to me so that I don’t sabotage all these processes too much. As for me, I am the entrepreneur: doing, giving substance, delivering. The group will soon expand a bit.
The pleasure I derive from it is twofold. On one hand, working on the subject of responsible digital, on the issues of planetary boundaries (the famous “donut”): hard to do better in terms of meaning, and therefore commitment. It forces me to question my contradictions and I don’t often come out the winner. Moreover, is digital compatible with the future? That remains to be proven.
Agility? Organization? They are still present and are essential factors in this change management. Since I’ve been immersed in this subject, I’ve observed a small world of people who know each other and who are confronted with the classic problems of change. But advantage or disadvantage, the transformation I’m referring to, we will all be obliged to tackle it, and let’s hope, to succeed at it. That will be a change from the pseudo-agile or digital transformations that the market has emptied of meaning.
