Today, to reform organizations, rethink products, re-imagine social relationships in companies, defining whether you want to use a known recipe (like a “spotify” foundation, “SAFe”, “Less”, etc.), frameworks (“Scrum”, “Kanban”), approaches (“Lean Startup”, “Beyond Budgeting”, “Holacracy”, “Design Thinking”, etc.) remains an important step, but one within everyone’s reach. Helping you with these topics is a small part of my role, however.

Defining how far, at what pace, how, in which direction, the adaptation and emergence of your own ecosystem must be realized is already less easy to grasp. But if it were easy, it wouldn’t be the question. It’s part of the role of people like me to support you on this.

But I’ve come to think over time that the keystone of all this is the will (the intention) and the way of being (the attitude) of important people. Important in the sense that they have levers, that they find themselves at strategic moments and places1. My role consists of supporting these people. Ensuring their intentions, or bringing them to light, coaching them in their way of being, nourishing them with other experiences and knowledge.

The evolution of organizations happens through the transformation of the people who compose them. The organization is the sum of individuals. I work with individuals on their way of being, with these important people1 who guide, trigger, the flows and energies of the organization. I work with people who realize this and who want to take ownership of these topics, or organizations that want people to realize this.
