I would like to take the time to recall the existence of this Excel sheet (found one day by chance on the web) coming directly from Richard Basque, and which I have used many times in the context of audits (citing my source!). Because this sheet mentions: Permission to reuse but with the mandatory reference: “© 2006 Alcyonix (www.alcyonix.com)”. There, it’s done once again. Thank you Alcyonix (and by the way I don’t know if it’s still current: “hi Eric! hi Christian!”).

In 9 words: CMMi is a very interesting set of project practices (this is a very brief summary I’m making here, read this instead). One of its strengths is to let everyone implement these practices as they wish. Concerning some of its weaknesses I’ll let you consult some of my previous posts. For my part, and I have already mentioned it, I mainly use my knowledge and my CMMi experience in the context of audits (hence also this checklist). I recommend to all project managers or scrummasters or others to dive a bit into the different questions proposed here and which - I hope - will feed your reflection concerning your IT projects. Thanks again Al'!
